First board meeting of the Africa 24 channel in Equatorial Guinea

The headquarters of the Ministry of Information, Press and Radio hosted the first board meeting of the Pan-African network Africa 24 in Equatorial Guinea, a momentous meeting that was attended by the representative of that institution in Cameroon, Lucien Ewangue; the director general, Constant Nemale, and the representative in Equatorial Guinea and Minister of Information, Eugenio Nze Obiang, among others.

During the meeting they analyzed, among other topics, the evaluation and performance of the channel, the unanimous decision of the board regarding the establishment of the future global operational headquarters of the channel in Equatorial Guinea, its equipment and the implementation, and the analysis of the action plan of the Member States.

They also studied other points, such as finance, whose state is considered satisfactory, according to the director general, Constant Nemale of Cameroon, as it has reached a financial equilibrium.

The new headquarters, which was built in Malabo II, and funded entirely by the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, will be operational in the coming months, to broadcast in Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic, and is provided with latest generation equipment.
