On 12 October 2010, President Obiang’s administration in Equatorial Guinea opened the new trade port on the remote island province of Annobón. The port was built by Somagec, a Moroccan building and engineering firm. The new trade port, airport, and church on Annobón are just some of the building projects the Obiang administration has under taken for Equatorial Guinea.
